Classifications Autumn/Winter TTT league

So what is the autumn/winter TTT league?

Running from autumn 2024 across through winter 2025 in the Northern Hemisphere, this is a points based TTT league open to everyone.

How is it set up?

This is a 2 week 2 course format. 1 long course (Champion) and 1 short course (Challenge) selected every 2 weeks and posted here on the website.

What are the teams?

You have the option of setting up a new team or riding with an established team on TrainingPeaks Virtual. You also have the option of riding with AI bots if there is less than 3 humans in your team or having a human only team. Your choice! We've tested the bots in the TTT format and they don't confer a competitive advantage (maybe a slight disadvantage). So if you are a solo rider, you can enter this competition.

How are the course set up?

The TTT can be ridden at any time of your own choosing. We will set the courses and information is below.

You will need to learn how to set up an event on TrainingPeaks Virtual but that is super easy. Please have a look at our instructional videos.

The set up is same for every course: no wind, always clear, always day. Quite a lot of teams organise competitive TTT races against each other so check out our discord channel on the TPV server for races.

What do I do with the results?

Simple - please send results .csv files with date/time/team name to ivtttresults@googlegroups.com and we will do the rest. Make sure you tick the box on the set up page to send the results first to your email and then just forward to us.

What is the scoring?

There will be a leaderboard for the Champion, Challenge and combined point scores. Over the course of the league, a team's worst 2 point scores will be discarded.

Courses for Round 1

Champion = Forest Velodrome (50 laps) Challenge = Fast Finish (1 lap)

Courses for Round 2

Champion = A bit of everything 26km (custom) Challenge = Parry Vlo Bae 16km (custom)

Courses for Round 3

Champion = Flat 8 24.5km (custom) Challenge = A bit of everything reverse 15km (custom)

Courses for Round 4

Champion = Little loops = 28.5km (custom) Challenge = Easy Hill Climb lap 16km (custom)

Courses for Round 5

Champion = Grand Day Out = 29.5km (custom) Challenge = So near and yet so far = 18.5km (custom) With the pacebot to help you (or not). It's your choice whether you want to harness the pacebot or not. Please remember this can only be set up for 1 team TTTs as each team will set up the pacebot differently. The pacebot should be limited to 18000m and you can choose the starting power and finishing power (flat, increasing or decreasing - not recommended). Do not set speed please. Remember you don't have to use it but you might be putting your team at a disadvantage.....
